The falls are in full view right from the Tellico River Road bridge, with a short, steep path at the end of the lot climbing to the top of the cascade. From there, Bald River Trail #88 continues upstream along an old logging-railroad grade into the Bald River Gorge Wilderness, running 5.6 miles one-way to Forest Road 126 for those who want a longer walk. The lower river section is well shaded and follows the water closely.
